Revisiting “Citizenship Under Fire“

This short essay relates the impact of war on democratic and civic education to similar impacts generated by persistent polarization extremism. Some misguided responses both are discussed, especially those that entrench nationalistic sentiments undermine attitudes, as well focused singling out some identity groups suspect. A normative case is made for addressing conspiracism through an intentional effort build a community committed sound epistemic practices.
